Parker Martin races into Illini 100 finale at Farmer City Raceway with World of Outlaws
On Friday afternoon, Parker Martin made the long trek to Farmer City (Ill.) Raceway to join the World of Outlaws Case Late Model Series for the Illini 100 weekend.
With 45 Late Models checked in, Martin got buried in his heat race and was unable to transfer out of his B-Main with a seventh-place finish.
Finding more speed in Saturday's $20,000-to-win finale, Parker started ninth in his heat race and stormed forward to pick up the last transfer position in fourth. Starting the 60-lap A-Main from 16th, Martin fell back four spots to finish 20th.
Martin is currently 19th in the World of Outlaw point standings.
